WHAT IS KETOSIS?

Ketosis is a natural state for the body, when it is almost completely fueled by fat. Ketosis takes place when glucose from carbohydrate foods is drastically reduced, which forces the body to find an alternative fuel source: fat. When glucose in the body is at such a low level, your body starts to burn fat and produces ketones. When the ketone levels in your blood rise to a certain level, your body goes into the state of ketosis. This state of ketosis results in consistent weight/fat loss until you reach a healthy, stable body.
